Wilderness First Aid training support available now for field researchers! Hands-on first aid training is appropriate for researchers or trip leaders that work in remote areas, at least 30 minutes from emergency medical services or with limited communications. 

Fall 2018 Training Dates:

  • 8 Hour Wilderness First Aid with CPR/AED - Two dates to choose from: Friday September 28 and Saturday September 29 (8:30 am - 5 pm, $40)
  • Field Safety: Planning Tools & Support, UC Travel Insurance, Emergency Communications, Heat Illness Prevention, Common Field Hazards & Scenarios – September 11 (2-3:30 pm, 132 Mulford)
  • Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training* – October 23 (2-3:30 pm, 132 Mulford)

*WFA training or equivalent First Aid/CPR/AED training is a required prerequisite.
