Are there other types of inspections the Biosafety team offers?

The biosafety team offers to review work practices and workflow patterns in BSL2 lab spaces to ensure personnel are working safely and not disrupting engineering controls via air perturbations in heavily trafficked areas.

Who needs to be there during the inspection?

At least one person from your research group with the ability to answer safety and technical questions should be there to meet the inspector. This can be the principal investigator, the lab safety coordinator, or a BUA member.
