Planned Outage of EH&S Web Applications

All EH&S web applications will be shut down for a system upgrade starting at 5 PM on Friday, Oct 2nd, 2020.

Why?

We’re implementing a new data model that will enable

  • better integration with our systems and others
  • easier, faster creation of new tools and features

During System Maintenance

To report an urgent situation such as a workplace injury that is not life-threatening, or to report a spill of hazardous materials, call us at (510) 642-3073.

As always, to report an emergency, call 911 from a cell phone, or (510) 642-3333 from a campus phone.

During a system maintenance period, users will not have access to the following:

  • Labs @ Berkeley (L@B)
  • Hazardous Waste Program (HWP)
  • Radiation Safety Information System (RSIS)
  • Event Permit
  • Service Recharges System (SRS)
  • Safety Training Assessment and Recordkeeping Tool (START)
  • Laser
