Waste Anesthetic Gases

Abstract: 

Waste Anesthetic Gas (WAG) refers to the anesthetic vapors that escape into the work environment during administration. Isoflurane is a volatile, halogenated liquid used as an inhalation anesthetic in animal research. Exposure occurs through leakage from equipment, poor work practices, or ineffective ventilation or scavenging systems.
