Welcome to the UCB Learning Management System

For Employees

The UC Berkeley Learning Management System replaces ICE (Interactive Course Enrollment) and is accessed through the campus BLU portal.

LOG IN at BLU.BERKELEY.EDU using your CalNet ID.

After logging in, The UCB Learning Center is the last listing under Self Service in the left hand column.

Important Note: You must have Pop Up Blockers turned off to view a training. The trainings are optimized for the Windows platform using Internet Explorer or the Mac platform using Safari.

Click on the UCB Learning Center link to see the catalog. To access your needed EH&S training, look for a specific class by clicking the link to the “Environment, Safety and Emergency Management”. There is also a search box at the top of the catalog page.

The Learning Center accepts registrations for and tracks user completions of all types of training classes including in person training, online training, read and sign documents, videos, and audio presentations.

Note: the UCB learning Center is only accessible to paid Employees who have a UC Berkeley Human Resources record. Non-Employees typically do not have access to the UCB Learning Center.

For Non-Employees

If you are a non-employee who needs an in person EH&S training class, please contact Tim Bean, the EH&S Training Manager (510) 643-3482 or mtbean@berkeley.edu for a list of available class dates and times. If you are a non-employee who needs to take an EH&S online training program, click here for non-employee EH&S online training.

After you complete a non-employee version of an EH&S online training, be sure to use the email link at the end of the presentation to send your score and the requested information to EH&S so that we may have an email record of your successful training completion.
