Program: Fire and Life Safety Education

Description

• Provide fire extinguisher training as requested to approximately 1,500 campus personnel a year.
  
• Provide fire safety training and education to campus personnel through conducting and/or assisting in building evacuation drills and presentations to safety committees and other interested campus groups.
  
• Provide fire safety educational materials which address fire safety concerns specifically for UC Berkeley faculty, staff and students.
• Provide fire and life safety assistance to Real Estate, Housing, Food , Child Care, and other self-supporting services on campus. Assist with questions regarding fire and life safety, conduct fire safety inspections, and assist with creating a safe environment for residents, staff and students through an established fire prevention program.
