Summary of Charges

Reviews and approves all research involving human subjects conducted at or sponsored by the University of California, Berkeley. CPHS Guidelines for use by researchers are based on the Federal Regulations for Protection of Human Research Subjects, the University Policy on the Protection of Human Subjects in Research, and the assurance of Compliance with Federal Regulations on the Protection of Human Subjects.
